Terms and Conditions for Consumers
As a consumer on Zerro, you are entitled to the following rights under Indian law:
● Right to Information: Sellers must provide accurate and complete information about products, including pricing, specifications, warranty details, and return policies.
● Right to Choose: You have the freedom to choose from multiple sellers and products available on the Platform.
● Right to Safety: All products purchased through Zerro must meet applicable safety and quality standards as per Indian laws.
● Right to Redressal: If you encounter any issues with a product or service, you an file a complaint with Zerro or directly with the seller. Zerro will assist in resolving disputes fairly and promptly.
● Right to Consumer Education: Zerro is committed to educating consumers about their rights and responsibilities through FAQs, guides, and support services.
2. Types of Consumers
Zerro caters to two types of consumers:
1. Regular Consumers: Individuals purchasing products for personal use in smaller quantities.
2. Wholesalers Businesses or individuals purchasing products in bulk quantities for resale or commercial purposes.
2.1 Requirements for Wholesalers
● Wholesalers must register as a business entity on Zerro and provide valid GST registration details during the account setup process.
● Wholesalers are eligible to purchase products at discounted wholesale prices, subject to meeting the vendor’s Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) requirements.
● Wholesalers are not permitted to sell products on Zerro. They may only purchase products for resale offline or on other e-commerce platforms.
● Wholesalers must comply with all applicable Indian laws, including GST regulations, while reselling products purchased from Zerro.
3. Order Placement and Payment
● When placing an order, you agree to provide accurate billing, shipping, and contact information.
● Payments made through the Platform are processed securely. Zerro does not
store your payment information unless explicitly authorized by you.
● By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are legally authorized to use the
payment method provided.
4. Delivery and Returns
4.1 Delivery
● Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on the seller’s location and logistics partners.
● Wholesalers must ensure that their delivery addresses are accurate and capable of receiving bulk shipments.
4.2 Returns
● If a product is defective, damaged, or does not match the description, you may request a return or replacement within the timeframe specified by the seller (subject to the seller’s return policy).
● Refunds will be processed after the returned product is received and verified by the seller. The refund timeline may vary based on the payment method used.
● Refunds will be issued only if the vendor’s specified criteria for returns and refunds are met.
5. Product Disputes
● If you receive a product that is defective, counterfeit, or significantly different from its description, you can initiate a dispute resolution process through Zerro.
● To resolve disputes, Zerro will mediate between the consumer and the seller. If necessary, Zerro reserves the right to refund the consumer and take action against the seller.
6. Prohibited Activities
Consumers are prohibited from engaging in the following activities on the Platform:
● Using abusive, offensive, or discriminatory language toward sellers or Zerro staff.
● Placing fraudulent orders or using unauthorized payment methods.
● Attempting to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Platform.
● Violating intellectual property rights of sellers or Zerro.
● Wholesalers attempting to sell products purchased from Zerro on the Platform itself.
7. Cancellation Policy
● You may cancel an order before it is shipped, subject to the seller’s cancellation policy.
● Once an order is shipped, cancellations will only be allowed if the seller agrees or if the product is eligible for return under the return policy.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
● Zerro respects your privacy and complies with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
● Your personal information will be used solely for processing orders, improving services, and communicating with you. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
9. Refund and Replacement
● Refunds will be issued in the original mode of payment unless otherwise agreed upon.
● Replacements will be shipped only after the defective product is returned and verified by the seller.
● Zerro will facilitate refunds or replacements if the seller fails to comply with their obligations.
10. Liability Disclaimer
While Zerro strives to ensure a seamless shopping experience, we are not liable for:
● Delays in delivery caused by logistics partners or external factors.
● Misrepresentation of products by sellers (though we will assist in resolving such issues).
● Any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account due to negligence on your part.

12. Changes to Terms
Zerro reserves the right to update these Terms periodically. Any changes will be communicated via email or through a notification on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
