delivery operations. The shipping process involves collaboration between Zerro,
vendors, and Delhivery to ensure timely and secure delivery of orders. Here’s how it
works:
1. Order Placement : Consumers place an order on the Zerro platform, providing accurate shipping and billing details.
2. Order Details Shared : Zerro shares the consumer’s shipping address and order details with the respective vendor.
3. Vendor Prepares Order : The vendor is responsible for packing the order securely and keeping it ready for pickup.
4. Delhivery Pickup : Delhivery schedules a pickup from the vendor’s location and transports the package to the consumer.
5. Delivery : Delhivery handles the delivery process, including tracking and customer updates.
2. Responsibilities of Each Party
2.1 Zerro’s Responsibilities
● Facilitating communication between consumers, vendors, and Delhivery.
● Sharing accurate order and shipping details with vendors.
● Monitoring the shipping process and assisting with any issues or delays.
● Providing consumers with tracking information for their orders.
2.2 Vendor’s Responsibilities
● Ensuring the product is packed securely to prevent damage during transit.
● Keeping the order ready for pickup at the scheduled time.
● Providing accurate and complete product details to avoid miscommunication.
● Complying with all packaging and labeling requirements specified by Zerro and Delhivery.
2.3 Delhivery’s Responsibilities
● Scheduling timely pickups from the vendor’s location.
● Transporting the package safely to the consumer’s address.
● Providing real-time tracking updates to both the vendor and the consumer.
● Handling delivery exceptions, such as incorrect addresses or failed delivery attempts.
2.4 Consumer’s Responsibilities
● Providing accurate shipping and contact information during checkout.
● Ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery at the provided address.
● Inspecting the package upon delivery and reporting any issues (e.g., damage or
missing items) to Zerro or Delhivery within the specified timeframe.
3. Shipping Timelines
● Processing Time : Vendors are required to pack and prepare the order for pickup within 1-2 business days after receiving the order details from Zerro.
● Delivery Time : Delivery timelines vary depending on the destination:
● Local Deliveries : 2-4 business days.
● Regional Deliveries : 4-7 business days.
● Remote Areas : Up to 10 business days.
● Delhivery provides real-time tracking updates so consumers can monitor the status of their orders.
4. Shipping Charges
● Shipping charges are calculated based on factors such as product weight,
dimensions, and delivery location.
● Vendors may include shipping charges in the product price or charge them separately, as disclosed during checkout.
● Free shipping offers, if applicable, will be clearly communicated on the product page.
5. Packaging Requirements
Vendors are required to adhere to the following packaging guidelines to ensure safe
delivery:
● Use durable packaging materials to protect the product during transit.
● Seal packages securely to prevent tampering or damage.
● Include all necessary documentation, such as invoices and return labels, inside
the package.
● Clearly label the package with the consumer’s address and order details.
6. Delivery Exceptions
In the event of delivery exceptions, the following steps will be taken:
● Incorrect Address : If the provided address is incorrect or incomplete, Delhivery will attempt to contact the consumer for clarification. If the issue cannot be resolved, the package may be returned to the vendor.
● Failed Delivery Attempts : Delhivery will make up to 3 delivery attempts . If the consumer is unavailable to receive the package after 3 attempts, the package may be returned to the vendor.
● Damaged or Missing Items : Consumers must report any damage or missing items to Zerro within 48 hours of delivery. Zerro will assist in resolving the issue with the vendor and Delhivery.
7. Tracking Orders
● Consumers can track their orders in real-time through the Zerro platform or the Delhivery tracking portal.
● Tracking updates include key milestones such as order confirmation, pickup, in-transit, out for delivery, and delivered.
8. Returns and Refunds
● If a product is eligible for return, the consumer must initiate the return process through the Zerro platform.
● Delhivery will pick up the return package from the consumer’s address and deliver it back to the vendor.
● Refunds will be processed only after the vendor receives and verifies the returned product.
9. Liability and Disclaimers
● Zerro : Zerro is not liable for delays, damages, or losses caused by vendors, Delhivery, or external factors such as natural disasters or strikes.
● Vendors : Vendors are responsible for ensuring accurate order preparation and compliance with packaging guidelines.
● Delhivery : Delhivery is responsible for safe transportation and delivery of the package. Any claims for lost or damaged packages must be raised with Delhivery through Zerro’s support team.
● Consumers : Consumers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details and being available to receive the delivery.
10. Changes to the Shipping Policy
Zerro reserves the right to update this Shipping Policy periodically. Any changes will be communicated via email or through a notification on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Shipping Policy.
