🎉 ZERRO Launch Offer – Terms & Conditions

1) Eligibility & Scope

1.1 First-time users only. Offer applies on a user’s first successful prepaid order on Zerro.
1.2 Prepaid only. Not valid on COD orders.
1.3 Offer valid in India, on the Zerro website/app, for eligible products (see §4.3).
1.4 Zerro may withdraw/modify the offer at any time to comply with law or prevent abuse.

2) Issuance of Coupons

2.1 Users receive ₹1500 in Zerro coupons as three (3) individual coupons of ₹500 each.
2.2 Coupons are issued after delivery of the qualifying order and after the return window closes for that order.
2.3 Coupons are delivered to the registered email / in-app wallet.

3) Redemption Rules

3.1 One coupon per order. Coupons cannot be clubbed/stacked with each other or with other codes unless explicitly stated.
3.2 Validity: Each coupon is valid for 60 days from the date of issue. Expired coupons will not be reissued.
3.3 No cash/outside use: Coupons are not encashable, non-refundable, and usable only on Zerro.
3.4 Non-transferable: Issued to the account holder; cannot be sold, gifted, or bartered.
3.5 Consecutive orders: Coupons are designed for future orders (post-issuance).
3.6 Returns on coupon-applied orders:
  • Orders placed using these coupons are not eligible for voluntary return.
  • Statutory rights remain: For defective, damaged, or not-as-described products, users retain remedies under law (repair/replace/refund as applicable). Zerro/seller will process such cases per law and platform policy.

4) Product Eligibility & Communication

4.1 Coupons are valid only on selected products.
4.2 Zerro will clearly indicate eligible products on-site (badges/filters) and email the eligible list to users.
4.3 Product and seller disclosures (e.g., country of origin, seller details) will be displayed as required.

5) Payment, Pricing & Taxes

5.1 Taxes, shipping, and fees apply as shown at checkout.
5.2 If an order using a coupon is cancelled/refunded (non-defect reasons), coupon benefit will be reversed; if already consumed, refund may be net of coupon value.

6) Fraud, Abuse & Fair Use

6.1 Zerro may deny/withdraw coupons and cancel orders if it detects fraud, bulk/automated signups, duplicate accounts, code scraping, or policy breach.
6.2 Zerro may seek recovery of benefits wrongfully availed.

7) Returns, Cancellations & Refunds (General)

7.1 Zerro and its sellers must not adopt unfair trade practices; key policies (returns/refunds/cancellations/warranties) will be displayed clearly. No unjust cancellation charges; refunds processed within a reasonable time.
7.2 For defective/damaged/not-as-described items, remedies will align with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and E-commerce Rules, 2020 (repair/replace/refund). Users can escalate via the grievance process (§8). 

8) Grievance Redressal (Mandatory Timelines)

8.1 Zerro maintains a Grievance Redressal Mechanism and appoints a Grievance Officer.
8.2 Acknowledgement within 48 hours and resolution within 1 month from complaint receipt, per the E-commerce Rules, 2020
8.3 As an intermediary/marketplace (where applicable), users may also escalate under the IT Intermediary Rules, 2021 (including Grievance Appellate Committee) if not satisfied.

9) Data & Privacy

9.1 Zerro processes personal data per its Privacy Notice and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
9.2 Users have a right to grievance redressal regarding data processing and may request correction/erasure subject to legal retention.

10) Platform Role & Liability

10.1 Marketplace role: Where Zerro operates as a marketplace, it facilitates transactions between buyers and independent sellers. Primary responsibility for product quality, warranty, and statutory compliance rests with the seller; Zerro will support users via the grievance mechanism and enforce seller obligations as per law.
10.2 Limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zerro’s liability for the offer/coupons is limited to re-issuing a coupon or refunding the coupon value not received, excluding consequential or indirect losses. This does not limit statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
10.3 No legal/consumer dispute involvement disclaimer (clarified): Zerro seeks to resolve issues through §8. However, nothing in these terms restricts a consumer’s right to approach Consumer Commissions or other authorities under law. 

11) Force Majeure

11.1 Zerro is not liable for delays/failures due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., network outages, government actions, natural calamities).

12) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

12.1 These terms are governed by Indian law.
12.2 Subject to consumer forums’ jurisdiction, courts at Chennai, Tamilnadu shall have jurisdiction for disputes (fill as appropriate). Statutory consumer redressal fora remain available.

13) Changes to Terms

13.1 Zerro may update these terms to comply with law or improve clarity. Material changes to eligibility/benefits will be communicated on-site/email.
